MORE ABOUT ME

I'm a Kenyon College student from the Southern coast of Maine. I find inspiration in the natural world around me and in interactions between people, including the interaction between the viewers and subjects of portrait pieces.

Recently, a lot of my work has surrounded the concept of portraits. Unusual portrait subjects, locations, and perspectives continue to inspire my work.

As a double major, I strive to identify intersections between my study of political science and art. Today, as the world continues to grow more and more tumultuous, I seek to create small moments and spaces in which a person can focus soley on the art in front of them and offer a moment of reflection for the viewer.

As the youngest of five daughters, I particularly enjoy all the time I am able to spend with my sisters, parents, and their respective animals and offspring.

Outside of my art practice, I love to be outside, build fires, look at bugs, climb, and cook. I am excited to continue to develop my practice as I continue to grow and learn about the world around me and myself.
